Vax celebrates 40 years of innovation
When floorcare brand, Vax, reached its 40th anniversary, it wanted to mark the milestone with a campaign that would position the brand at the forefront of innovation and increase engagement with house proud Brits.
The 40th anniversary campaign centred on a highly engaging and shareable animated video documenting the history of our homes charting ’40 years of innovation’. To create a strong editorial hook for media, research was commissioned to reveal where people get their home interior inspiration from, which design items from the 70s still feature in their décor and what people would like to have in their home of the future. A broadcast day with celebrity partner, Amanda Lamb, was used to launch the campaign and the video was sold in to online media owners. National, regional and trade media relations activity, blog and e-comms content and a full social media content calendar with supporting assets helped amplify the campaign across all available comms channels.
The campaign generated widespread national and regional coverage across print, broadcast and online media, 100,000+ video views, 445% increase in YoY web visits and 94% key message delivery.
