Using social influencers to drive brand awareness
Social influencers help showcase aspirational living with CALA Homes.
Whistle was briefed to devise a campaign to help promote a CALA Homes development, raising awareness of the site and showcasing the quality of homes and lifestyle on offer. With the purchaser profile mainly engaging with online content, an influencer campaign saw CALA partner with notable lifestyle and home interest contacts. Five social media influencers local to the area were invited to attend an exclusive ‘festive interiors’ event at the development show home and witness first-hand the aspirational lifestyle on offer when purchasing a CALA home.
Included in the day was a guided tour and Q&A on the latest home decor trends with Claude Hooper Interiors, the designers behind the show home’s opulent interiors. The spacious kitchen with its central island was used to serve a complimentary buffet lunch, before being transformed into a Christmas wreath-making workshop.
Positive feedback from the influencers who attended delivered on-brand messages to CALA’s target audience of house-proud individuals and homebuyers. Influencer coverage of the event across Instagram and other social media platforms secured 60.7k impressions and 3.2k blog post views, with an impressive engagement rate of 5.6% (against an industry benchmark of 2.0%) thanks to multiple comments, bookmarks and video views.
